Thanks for checking in again. I hope you all had a fabulous time with friends, family, and neighbors over the holiday weekend. I must say it was great to recount the many blessings God has bestowed on this beautiful country. Memories came flood back from years past while watching fireworks from a grave yard (yeah, fitting place to watch fireworks from ).

Well, the weekend is over, so it’s back to business. I know it has been quite a while since I last updated you all on what’s been going on so I’ll pick up where I left off. The last few months have been slow. Life picks up pace, and things stop “clicking together” like LEGOs. So without further ado, here’s a status update.

April:

-Not much happened. That month was full of finals, test, and closing up the school year. I guess I should inform you all that this company is run mainly by college students.

May:

-All basic and standard services were launched and up ready to be used

-A lot of behind the scenes stuff was worked on such as SEO, and code edits

-Brainstorming for some free stuff went on, and some great ideas came up

June:

-More SEO and back end work

-SEO research continued

Coming Soon…

• A revised “quick pitch”/summary of what Zipkon does.

• All “Techie” services to be released by end of summer

• Hopefully some ads will go up on commercial sites

• A real blog post to keep you entertained

1. Financial support. Right now, our money is going toward books, classes, and life necessities for the fall semester. I don’t have the extra cash to be able to advertise with pay per click. If you’d like to see us get more traffic you can feel free to donate any amount, no matter how small (even $5 can go a long way), to our Paypal account.

Thank you for checking our blog. It’s been a long 3 months, and a lot has happened on and face and behind the scenes of the company. We just wanted to give you a status update on how things are going here at Zipkon.

Progress Report: Here is what we’ve accomplished since December.

January:

-Website was launched

-Work began behind the scenes on coding the service forms

-Email and blog were set up and activated

-Alpha testing began

February:

-Some services moved into Beta

-Graphical fixes were performed on most of the site

-Code was fixed on the website and other site related errors were corrected

-A Few weeks were taken off of work on the service and time was focused on management and executive planning

-Some minor changes behind the scenes took place and revisions to the service were made

-Zipkon got a twitter

March:

-More changes and updates were added to the website

-Work began on some new web pages

-The graphics needed for future pages were created and tested

-Zipkon got a Facebook page

-Executive planning was examined and some legal documents were composed

-First paying customer

-First real blog post

-Advertising campaign to start

-More updates to be announced (That’s more of a guarantee then a hopeful
